What does this mean?
In prayer, we grow closer in our relationships with our heavenly Father, as we talk and listen to him. We learn as we encounter God through his living word when we read the Bible, in receiving Communion and by journeying alongside the people God has given us in the church; learning together how to live as Christian people.
We receive the light of Christ by:
- praying and seeking God’s will
- participating in the life and worship of the Church
- reading and reflecting on the Scriptures
- receiving Communion
- opening our lives to the Holy Spirit.
