The Centenary Project Hubs bring together young people from church-based youth groups to build relationships, worship together and be part of a much bigger picture.
We have a Doncaster Youth Hub and a Sheffield Youth Hub, both gather young people aged 11-18 from youth groups of various sizes from different church denominations.
Doncaster Youth Hub
The Doncaster Youth Hub exists to bring young people from church youth groups across the city together, to build relationships with each other and with God. From summer socials, youth takeover nights and social action weekends, to prayer all-nighters and hang out nights, we aim to facilitate activities that a small youth group might not be able to do on their own. This helps young people feel part of something much bigger. Our vision is to encourage young people to get involved in the running and organisation of these events too, growing their leadership abilities in practical ways.
We also hold monthly prayer breakfasts for youth workers and volunteers to support each other, share resources and pray together for the young people in our city.
Sheffield Youth Hub
The Sheffield Youth Hub is a half termly gathering that are linked to churches and church-based youth groups across Sheffield. The vision of the Hub is to bring together church-based youth groups to help young people to encounter God through sung worship, be inspired and equipped through hearing testimonies, and take steps forward in their own faith journeys in times of prayer and response.
We also run monthly breakfasts for youth leaders from across Sheffield (usually the 3rd Thursday of the month at Ikea), and we have a young leaders group called Catalyst that meets monthly on Mondays to plan our hub events.
Catalyst Young Leaders
A group that meets monthly for young leaders aged 13-18 who want to help shape the Sheffield Youth Hub and take on roles of leadership.
Wild Away Day
Annual youth day bringing together groups that go to both the Doncaster and Sheffield Youth Hubs for a day of outdoor activities, worship and input.
