SG&T provides formation in prayer and discernment. The course offers a safe and sacred space in which to explore, reflect and share experiences of our relationship with God. Themes include images of God, images of self, the spiritual journey and personal calling.
Who is it for?
Anyone can enrol. This is an experiential rather than an academic course. Through prayer, listening and reflection, we support participants in drawing closer to God. The course is open to people of all denominations or none.
What does it lead to?
The course stands alone but with the Art of Spiritual Accompaniment may enable the formation and learning needed to become a Spiritual Accompanier.
Course outline
During the mornings, we spend time in silence for prayer and reflection. We then meet in listening threes (triads) as safe and sacred spaces to share. Using various approaches, we develop our capacity to experience the Holy Spirit relating to us personally. In the afternoons, we explore themes related to spiritual growth.
