Children and Youth Worker – St Christopher & St James Shiregreen

This is an opportunity to join St Christopher & St James as Children and Youth Worker employed by The Diocese of Sheffield’s initiative, The Centenary Project.

We are looking for a committed Christian to join our team who has experience in working with Children and Young People, who will develop and co-ordinate the work in the life of the church and the wider community.

You will lead and grow a team of volunteers, build on the strong links with the local schools and be part of the Centenary Project Workers’ Network.

  • 25 hours per week
  • Salary £25,000 FTE
  • 5 years fixed-term contract
  • 10% employer contribution to pension

This is a post funded by a grant from the National Church currently up to the end of 2028 with the potential for further review to 2031.
