Pause to Pray Retreat Day

Everyone is welcome at this event to find out more about prayer and different ways to pray.

It is for people who have never prayed before and would like to find out how to get started, as well as those who engage in prayer regularly and would like to discover alternative methods.

A range of short 15-minute presentations on various methods of prayer (including prayer walking, Taize, the rosary, icons and others), with plenty of space throughout the day to individually retreat in the beautiful surroundings of Sheffield Cathedral to try out some of the different methods of prayer, read or use the time as you choose.

Lunch and refreshments throughout the day will be provided and you will leave with a bag of prayer resources to take home.

In addition, the Cathedral shop will be open, with a range of books about prayer to purchase on the day.
