One body, many parts

Celebrating the growth of a diverse church

Our annual Development Day celebrates the fact that we are growing as a diocese. Workshop contributors will offer practical insights into a wide range of ways we can continue to do this. Mark Powley joins us to bring a wider perspective on how this is happening across the North. The day will end with an opportunity to get to know our new Bishop of Doncaster and, if appointed in time, new Archdeacon of Sheffield.

Parking is available in nearby streets. We know it is not easy, but you should be able to find space. Those with Blue Badges or other accessibility needs can indicate this when booking. We will be able to direct you to designated parking a short distance from the venue. If you wish to come by public transport, the 52 and 52a busses stop outside St Thomas Crookes.

Please indicate any dietary requirements on the booking form; this will help us with planning mid-morning refreshments. NB. You need to bring your own packed lunch (or buy this from local shops) unless you are a speaker or on the conference team (lunches provided for them).

Bookings are initially restricted to five people per church, which is why we ask you which church you attend. If we have spaces available in the final 10-14 days, we will lift this restriction.

There will again be a dedicated online stream with a choice of morning workshops. Numbers for this are essentially unlimited. All sessions from the main auditorium will be streamed (morning and afternoon), with the possibility of interaction via Zoom. This can be a good option for those who need to be at home or if you have more than five people who want to attend.
