Employed locally by the parish working in partnership with the Centenary Project an initiative of the Diocese of Sheffield
We are looking for a Children and Families Minister who is a committed Christian and who will develop, co-ordinate, and grow the work with children and their families in the life of the church and community.
We are part of a national church-funded revitalisation project which looks to invest in contexts with potential. The funding we have secured is until June 2031 and includes support for a Children and Families Minister, an Administrator and funds for better resourcing the church building.
This is a 20 hour per week fixed-term contract until June 2031 with the potential of a renewed contract.
- 20 Hours per week (flexible terms of working such as term time only can be considered)
- Starting Salary £14,571 (£25,500 FTE)

- Generous holiday entitlement (Including bank holidays and the 3 days between Christmas and New Year)
General responsibilities: –
- To produce, develop and oversee a programme for the work of the church with children and families.
- To build a team that, in line with our church vision, can model a healthy, thriving, sustainable children’s ministry.
- To pioneer new initiatives and effective ways of connecting with local families in the wider community.
- To be part of the Centenary Project Network, an initiative of the Diocese of Sheffield.
