Half term saw the launch of a new campaign for the Diocese, in the form of Church Explorers Week. 24 churches (and one museum!) signed up for the week-long series of events and activities.
Split into five categories (Open Days, History and Heritage, Family Fun, Outdoors and Nature, and Music), the initiative allowed us to play to our strengths in putting our parish churches on the visitor map, alongside appealing to a diverse audience.
Church Explorers Week set out to showcase the rich tapestry of experiences our parish churches offer, to shine the spotlight on their historical significance as well as their present-day relevance and role in community life. A huge thank you to all those who participated in, visited or supported Church Explorers Week.
