The Resource Centre at Church House, Rotherham is a lending library and is available to be used free of charge to everybody living within the Diocese of Sheffield.

With over 8,000 items available to be borrowed, we hope to offer you resources to help with your ministry, studies, groups, assemblies, Church events and much more. 

We have a wide range of contemporary Christian literature for all ages.  Items include:  

  • Books 
  • Display materials 
  • Puppets 
  • Parachutes 
  • Godly Play boxes 
  • Reminiscence boxes 
  • Garden games 
  • Badge making kits 
  • Small group and Teaching resources 
  • Prayer labyrinths 

Whether you are looking for a specific book or want to create a whole special service from scratch, please get in touch or pay us a visit. If our Administrator is not available, you can still take what you need – even if you are not a member!

Please note, Puppets, Godly Play and Games must be checked out by our administrator –

Monday 9am to 4pm 
Tuesday 9am to 4pm 
Wednesday 9am to 4pm 
Thursday 9am to 4pm  
Friday 9am – 1pm

All of our resources are available to view and reserve online for members. View our Online Catalogue

Using our online catalogue you can:

  • Search for books and other items – select a specific item, then the Shelf number and ‘spine label‘ will show you where to find the book.
  • Self-checkout – you need to login to the browse then checkout a book
  • Reserve items – use the ‘Hold’ feature
  • Renew – you get to renew your book online for a further three week period if no one else has reserved it.

Becoming a member couldn’t be easier. Complete the form below and wait to hear from us. You will be registered on to the online catalogue and sent notification – you will then need to create a new password (at the login screen click ‘Need password’)
