Music in Advent Retreat Day

Would you benefit from some time out from the pre-Christmas rush? Would you like to spend time reflecting on your faith during Advent?

Come along to the Music in Advent Retreat Day to do just that – find time and space to refocus on God and remember the ‘reason for the season’. Using music from different cultures and periods of history, we will spend time reflecting on and responding to Advent-related themes. The day will include guided sessions based around particular pieces of music, times of fellowship and periods of individual reflection. As well as lunch, we will share plenty of hot drinks and baked goods in honour of St Lucy’s day!

Retreat Day participants are welcome to arrive at 9:30am to join in with the Eucharist that is said each Saturday morning at St Wilfrid’s Church. The Retreat Day programme will begin at 10:00am.
