What is Theological Reflection? Join us online for an evening of learning how we can strengthen our reflective practice by integrating processes of theological reflection into our life as ministers and disciples. By considering scripture, tradition, reason and experience, we can discern what God is speaking to us and where He is leading us as we lead others. We’ll look at some simple tools to help us, and you’ll go away equipped to deepen your practice in this area.
Join Beth Burras (Lead Lay Ministry Enabler) for an interactive session with time in breakout groups and opportunities for questions.
This event is open to all lay ministers in the diocese: licenced (Readers, Church Army Evangelists, Lay Workers), authorised (Focal Ministers, Parish Evangelists, Worship Leaders, Pastoral Workers, Children and Youth Ministers, Spiritual Accompaniers) and commissioned (CLMs).
This is a pilot event where we are trialling one new way of providing ongoing training and learning for lay ministries, so your attendance and feedback are greatly appreciated.
If you would like to come along, please sign up below by Monday 17 November to let us know you are able to attend.
