Clergy Open Day

The Bishop of Sheffield invites you to an Open Day for clergy to explore our vision, strategy and forthcoming vacancies.

Following an extensive 18-month consultation, the Diocese of Sheffield launched a refreshed strategy towards the end of 2024. A subsequent partnership funding application to the Strategic Mission & Ministry Investment Board in early 2025 was, by the grace of God,
successful and we have a significant sum of money that will enable us to continue our transformation journey, invest in discipleship for all-ages and revitalise parish ministry. The award makes possible a number of new posts, both lay and ordained, and we’d love to invite
ordained people to hear more and consider whether the Lord Jesus might be calling you to join us in this adventure.
