Everyone has a vocation from God. We are all called first and foremost to ‘Follow Christ’ and we each live that out in the places that call us to serve.
On Saturday 6 September join us to rejoice in the different ways people around our Diocese serve Christ in a Celebration of Lay Ministry service led by Bishop Pete Wilcox.
This special service will include the licensing of Lay Readers, a presentation of certificates to those who have completed the Foundations Course, and we celebrate those who serve as Spiritual Accompaniers and authorised Focal Ministers.
The Vocations Fair will take place after the service. Representatives from different ministries across the Diocese will be there throughout the afternoon. Those attending can find out more about a range of ways to support their calling, including:

The Celebration of Lay Ministry Service begins at 1.00pm. The Vocations Fair is from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
Advance booking is not required.
