As part of the Diocese of Sheffield’s commitment to providing pastoral support through safeguarding processes, we are looking for Link Persons who can offer compassionate, practical and non-judgmental support to church officers who are the subject of safeguarding concerns or allegations.
Working alongside the Diocesan Safeguarding Team, Link Person offers pastoral support, help individuals access appropriate services, and ensure they remain informed and supported throughout their safeguarding journey.

Applicants are asked to submit their expression of interest (via the attached proforma) with a supporting statement outlining their suitability for the role to the HR at recruitment@sheffield.anglican.org.
Applicants will be invited to an initial conversation with the Safeguarding Team to discuss their suitability for the role. Successful applicants will follow the Church of England Safer Recruitment process (DBS, References and Safeguarding Training).
