We are seeking a priest to lead our three benefices (four churches) in this beautiful part of South Yorkshire in mission and ministry. You will be overseeing and working with established Focal Ministers in three of the four churches as we seek to make known the love of Jesus Christ in our communities.
We are praying for someone to join us who
- Is rooted in prayer and open to the Holy Spirit
- Is able to teach from Scripture and by example in ways that are relevant to our lives
- Listens carefully with compassion and humility
- Can help us to grow in our discipleship and pastoral ministry
- Can discern and nurture the gifts of others, growing lay ministries and lay leaders (particularly Focal Ministers)
- Is comfortable working across three parishes, valuing all equally
You will be working collegially alongside two current Oversight Ministers in the Mission Area (comprising 7 parishes) so that all can flourish.
