All Saints Ecclesall hosted over 80 children from Monday 10 to Friday 14 August for their annual summer holiday club. Titled ‘Trash Titans’, they heard stories from the Bible and considered how they might look after the world that God has made.
The Recycling-Themed Kids holiday club explored creation, caring for our planet, and how we can make a difference. Each day was packed with engaging activities, creative crafts, games, and interactive sessions designed to help children discover the importance of looking after our world.
The holiday club was a multi-generational effort with young leaders (from 13 to 18 years old) right up to people in their eighties serving on team. Highlights included hearing young people being interviewed about their faith, crazily energetic action songs, superhero poses, manic games and superb crafts courtesy of amazingly creative and generous congregation members. They enjoyed hosting the children’s families for a picnic on the Thursday afternoon and had a celebration of all God did that week the following Sunday.
