Peak Pilgrimage 2026

We will again be leading groups on the Peak Pilgrimage & Hope Pilgrimage routes in Derbyshire during 2026. If you are interested in joining either group, contact john.hibberd@sheffield.anglican.org. Previous participants have found these walks wonderfully refreshing spiritually. A good level of fitness is needed for each route.

Peak Pilgrimage begins on 11 April & will take place over four stages (June, July & September). Co-leaders are Claire Welch & John Hibberd. The route is about 40 miles, the longest stage being 14 miles & the shortest 8 miles. It is a beautiful walk through varied countryside. We stop at 12 churches, who have invested in making it a genuine pilgrimage.
