‘Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.’ – Psalm 119:105
Would you like to learn how to read the Bible for yourself?
Do you want to make studying the Bible a regular practice, but don’t know where to start?
Do you feel distant from the language and culture of people in the Bible?
If so, we’d love to welcome you to a day of introductory sessions focused on studying the Bible. The Revd Dr John Marsh and the Lights for Christ team will explore the historical context and overarching themes of the Bible and introduce practical study techniques to take away and use at home. These sessions are designed for those who want to take the Bible beyond Sunday morning, building a regular habit of studying scripture at home or with friends.
Booking is essential and the deadline for this is Sunday 30 August. The following ticket options are available:
Event ticket including lunch – £10
Event ticket (bring your own lunch) – £5
