
Churches around the world are being invited to take part in a global week of prayer, coordinated by the 24/7 Prayer network. Here in the Diocese of Sheffield, we are exploring two particular ways to get involved. We are currently in conversation with our link dioceses to organise a joint online prayer gathering as a follow-up to Thy Kingdom Come. This is provisionally planned for Wednesday 3 September, and further details will be shared in a future edition of the eBulletin. In addition, a virtual prayer room has been set up for the full seven days. Could you sign up to pray for just one hour? We are encouraging our link dioceses to take part as well, with different time zones making it easier to keep the prayer going throughout the week. Let us join together in prayer for our communities, our partners, and the world.
