Celebration of Lay Ministry Service and Vocations Fair

You are warmly invited to join us as we rejoice in the different ways people around our Diocese serve Christ in a Celebration of Lay Ministry service led by Bishop Leah Vasey-Saunders, Bishop of Doncaster.

The service will include; the licensing of Lay Readers and Lay Funeral Ministers, a presentation of certificates to those who have completed the Foundations Course and we will be celebrating those who serve as authorised Focal Ministers.

The service will be followed by a Vocations Fair at 2.30pm to 3.30pm. As Lights for Christ in the world we believe that all God’s people have a call to service whether that is in their church, their workplace, their school or home. Come along to find out more about serving in your church through:
