Vicar of All Saints Rotherham Minster and Priest in Charge of St Paul’s Masbrough
The Bishop of Sheffield is looking to appoint a visionary and energetic priest, with a passion for evangelism and music, to lead an exciting new venture to grow a resourcing church at the heart of Rotherham. The post holder will be responsible for building and leading a team of paid and voluntary people, lay and ordained, to engage with the schools and town community, and grow the church to be able to plant in the wider deanery in the coming years. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity, supported by Strategic Development Funding, to realise the potential of an iconic town centre presence to serve the mission of God, and also to assist the wider Church of England by pioneering a resource church within a liturgical and choral style of worship.
If you have an appetite to grow the church and to make a difference in a community which has experienced considerable difficulties in recent times, and if you sense that the Lord might be calling you, we would love to hear from you.
