Ministry Experience Scheme (MES) Warden

The Ministry Experience Scheme (MES) has been running for 10 years in the Church of England and seeks to give a year of ministry experience for candidates aged 18 – 30.  In September 2024, the Diocese of Sheffield are revamping their scheme to offer a range of different experiences across the Diocese whilst candidates will live together in an MES House.  Whilst staying in the house, candidates will pray and worship together as they live in a community with one another.

We are seeking an experienced warden with a passion for seeing young people grow in faith and discipleship who will look after the Diocesan MES community in worship, prayer and pastoral care.  You should have experience of leading prayer and worship, have excellent communication and pastoral skills as well as being organised and good with administration.
