Lights for Christ Enabler (Maternity Cover)

We are looking for someone with the drive, organisation, communication and online media skills to further our strategy to mobilize the whole people of God for the whole mission of God, so that every baptized person is enabled to shine as a light in the world to the glory of God the Father.

Adapted from the Church of England’s Setting God’s People Free initiative, Lights for Christ is a key part of the Released strand of the Diocesan strategy. Its purpose is to embed discipleship in the life of every Mission Area and congregation. One of the key elements of which is the encouragement of church members to adopt a simple, Personal Rule of Life.

This is an opportunity for someone to play a key role supporting the roll out of Lights for Christ and the Personal Rule of Life through developing networks and relationships with our clergy and church members.

  • Full time 35 hours per week (Part-Time Option Available)
  • Salary £27, 875 per annum (Pro-Rata if Part-Time)
  • 10% employer contribution to pension
  • Generous holiday entitlement
  • Fixed Term Contract – June 2025
  • Based at Diocesan Church House in Rotherham with some hybrid working from home
