Safeguarding Advisory Panel. The Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel (DSAP)

Probation Services with support from an Independent Chair. The Board will seek to
ensure the development of a high performing safeguarding system within the
Sheffield Diocese and provide assurance, advice and guidance to the Bishop,
directors and officers via the Archdeacon.

The successful applicant should have sufficient experience of working
within the public or voluntary sector at a senior level to command respect
within a multi-agency Panel of agency representatives, including working
knowledge of the Statutory frameworks for Safeguarding of children and
adults, including legislation, government guidance and the highest
standards of practice.
