The Diocese of Sheffield is looking to appoint a Church in School Learning Hub Leader to create a growing network of key leaders (adults and children) to share learning and creative solutions in connecting church, school and the home and to continue establishing Church In School congregations around the diocese. We are looking for a pioneer who will bring vision, energy and enthusiasm to the role, willing to try new things, empower children to shape church and culture, and to share experiences and lessons learned with the wider diocese and national Church of England through the Growing Faith Foundation.
You will have experience in establishing and running either Messy Church or other forms of Children centered congregations. You will have experience of motivating, training and equipping others to take a lead, and be able to report findings and share stories. You will also be an excellent team builder.
This 2-year post is funded by a generous grant from the Growing Faith Foundation and support from the Diocesan Board of Education.
