Moving Mountains

6th March 2018

Bishop Pete writes:

"Dear sisters and brothers, may I ask for your prayers?  From Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 March, I shall be leading a team from our Diocese to join the ‘Moving Mountains’ ecumenical mission in Cumbria.  This is the latest in the series which has followed the Crossroads mission in this Diocese in 2015.  We are going to be based in Whitehaven, where the local churches have put together a busy schedule of events for us.  The other members of the team are Caitlin Thomson, Helen Terry, John Hibberd & Andrew Bishop (from Guildford Diocese).  To paraphrase the Apostle Paul (Colossians 4.3) would you please pray that ‘God will open to us a door for the word, that we may declare the mystery of Christ’.
Many thanks, Bishop Pete"
