Mission Development Project Manager Announced

The Diocese of Sheffield is pleased to announce the appointment of Graham Millar who will be taking up the new role of Project Manager in early October.
He will provide project planning and overall delivery of the Church Commissioners’ Strategic Development Funding Project 2014 which will provide 12-15 Mission Partnership Development workers for six years to groups of parishes across the diocese with the aim of changing the culture of parochial ministry to patterns of working which are sustainable and missional.
Graham is an experienced third sector development manager with more than fifteen years experience of leading projects, charities and social enterprises across South Yorkshire to deliver their mission, collaborate, grow and increase their impact. He has held management roles with Relate, Mencap, Changing Faces and Key Fund Yorkshire.
He and his family are actively involved in Sheffield Cathedral and Graham is a member of the Cathedral Chapter and former Churchwarden and chair of the mission and ministry committee.
Graham said “I am absolutely delighted to be taking on this important new role. The Diocese has secured significant new funding to develop an innovative approach which will, over the next six years, make a significant contribution to helping the Diocese achieve its vision and make a real difference in Mission Partnerships at grass roots level across the Diocese”.
