Children and youth ministers celebrate graduation

1st July 2016

On Wednesday 29 June, 12 of the Aurora students received their certificates in youth or children’s ministry from Cliff College.  Despite the rain, the day was a wonderful way to mark the end of the course and the continuation of their hard work in parishes around the diocese.  (A further five students were unable to attend the ceremony, but will also be receiving Cliff College certificates in the post.)

Thanks has been given again to Ian White who moderates and promotes the courses from Cliff College (pictured in the group picture, wearing the gown).

Aurora continues to encourage, train and build confidence in volunteers from parish churches in all different settings, and a number each year go on to becoming Authorised Children’s or Youth Ministers.  We are now recruiting for the next course due to start at the end of September, and will run through until May 2017.  Maybe you know someone who would benefit from one of these part time courses?  For more information, visit www.auroratraining.org.uk and register your interest.
