Mission Shaped Introduction

mission shaped introduction (msi) is a six session course that invites us to rediscover mission and re-imagine church in a  changing world.  It can be run locally, or with the help of the Parish Support team as an event for a Deanery or Mission Partnership.

There is no charge for the course, though donations are welcome to cover the costs of refreshments.  An optional booklet is available for £4.

The most recent courses have been run at Woodlands in Doncaster, Catcliffe in Rotherham and Anston in the Laughton Deanery & by our Methodist colleagues in Handsworth.

Two new courses coming soon in 2017

  • Rotherham. The msi course will run on 5 Monday evenings (8 May, 15 May, 22 May, 5 June, 12 June) at St Mary's Church in Greasbrough. Download flyers here for the Rotherham course: A4 format, A5 format.
