RESOURCES

Resources

Through the generous stewardship of many who support the work of the Church of England across the region – there are enormous resources available for local people to enjoy.

For instance, the hundreds of buildings – churches, halls, community centres and schools – which are put to good use in the local community.

There are luncheon clubs, mother and baby groups, activities for children and young people – and for the elderly – as well as a wide range of specialist groups.

The Church is widely involved in education – of all ages – and in the provision of courses in prayer, worship and meditation.

It’s difficult to quantify just how important many of these resources are to a local community – the most important of which is of course the Christian people themselves who give of their time and talents to ensure a Christian presence in every community.
