Bishop pens second Lent study course

A year after publishing a highly successful 2010 Lent Course for churches across the UK, the Bishop of Sheffield, Dr Steven Croft, has just seen the publication of another Lent series, “Experiencing God’s Love”.

For the first time this year, however, a Kindle-friendly electronic version is available for purchase.

Published by www.chpublishing.co.uk the course is aimed at individuals or groups who want to study throughout the season of Lent, which begins on Ash Wednesday next month. It can also, of course, be used at any time.

The book, through five biblical images, explores the way that people’s lives are changed.

Each chapter explores one of the images from both the books of the Bible and popular culture, supported by suggestions for DVD/YouTube clips.

The 2010 title was called  ‘Experiencing God’s Mercy’.
