There are many helpful resources available to support churches and ministers in engaging with growth and this page provides links to some of these resources. Lower down the page you can find information about nurture courses. Click on the icons or on the weblinks to find go to their websites.
The Resources Centre at Church House is a great place to look for things to help your Church to grow. You will find many of the courses that are used by churches along with books, magazines, dvds and videos.

MissionAction Planning - This tool is used by many churches to review their mission strategy and then to plan and track their chosen actions - usually on an annual basis. www.churchmaps.co.uk/
The Church Army are a wonderful resource to the national church and we have the privilege of having their base in our Diocese. Their website is a great source of resources for mission. www.churcharmy.org.uk
More Than Gold is a great national campaign which has pulled together all sorts of resources that can be used by churches to make the most of the excitement that will be surrounding the olympics to reach out to people in their communities. It builds on very successful campaigns at previous Olympics including Sydney, Athens and Vancouver. www.morethangold.org.uk

Nurture Courses :-
Alpha - A well known 10 week course course from Holy Trinity Brompton. Used by many churches. Features include eating together and time away together. uk.alpha.org/
The Christianity Explored course gives you time and space to think through who Jesus is and why it matters. It is a s7-week course exploring the gospel of Mark. www.christianityexplored.org
The Discipleship Explored course is and 8-week course based on Philippians and follows on from the Christianity Explored course. www.ceministries.org/de/
Start - This course assumes no previous knowledge of the Christian Faith. It makes use of DVD clips, time to chat, simple discussion activities and space for reflection. - 1- Life is for living, 2- Oh my God! 3- Jesus who? 4- What's gone wrong, 5- Dying to save us 6- Into the arms of love. www.startcourse.org.uk
