Trusting in the hidden work of God

Welcome to the home of youth ministry for the Diocese of Sheffield.  This website is about encouraging and equipping good practice, sharing stories, thinking deeply and enjoying God.  I hope you find what you’re looking for here.

(Most of the activity in youth ministry in the diocese is currently happening over here.)

A young person said to me a while back, “I like here…”  It got me thinking about ‘here’… Sheffield Diocese, made up of cities and towns, urban and rural.

Our churches are so diverse across the diocese, and also in the way we do youth ministry.  I want to celebrate that diversity and encourage us to share our stories with each other, whether we belong to a large inner city church, or a tiny rural parish.  God is doing stuff all over, often in the small, quiet places.  So wherever you are, I pray God would inspire you as you love and encourage young people today. – Mike
