There are a variety of ways that Ministry Training and Development seeks to aid parish and deanery development.

The Parish Development Project (PDP)

Led by Revd Ian Smith and Dr Angie Lauener the PDP team aim to help parishes to discover their own ‘wisdom’ or understanding of how things are best done and how they can develop their own distinctive life and ministry as a healthy church. They work on a consultancy basis looking with a parish at its story, the congregational size, its sense of purpose and its world view.
