The Church at Work

The Diocese of Sheffield is at work in all our communities across the geographical area covered by the Diocese.

Everyone lives in a Church of England parish. Through our network of parishes and deaneries, every square metre of our local area is covered.

Parishes are at the heart of all of our activity and through them clergy and laity offer a range of services to the local community focussing on the worship offered and the sacraments celebrated.

Everyone is welcome to attend our places of worship and they will discover many specialist areas where the church is at work.
