Children and Teenagers
Jesus said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Mark 10: 13–14)
From Anecdote to Evidence says "There is an urgent need to focus on children, young people and their parents and a challenge to identify how the church can best invest in people, programmes and strategies which will encourage young people actively to continue exploring faith." (p24)
The following links will help you focus on your ministry with young people and children. It is important that we do not separate our younger church members from the 'main church', or think of them just as the church of tomorrow and not today. Use these resources to help you involve children and teenagers in decision making, leading and participating in every appropriate area of church life and training those whose special focus it is to nurture, disciple and encourage them in their faith journeys.
