Number One on the list: Journeying Out by Ann Morisy (Morehouse: London, 2004) reviewed by Paul Shackerley...FULL REVIEW >>

Keen to grow a healthy church? Try Robert Warrren’s Healthy Churches Handbook (CHP: 2004) a practical guide which helps churches identify their strengths and weaknesses and discover what action to take….how about the PCC studying it together? £10.95

For a really comprehensive approach to evangelism on the ground, you can’t better Evangelism through the Local Church by Michael Green (H & S: 1993) Michael is ex-Springboard, and this book covers a vast range of stuff – including helpful, practical appendices on things like enquirers’ courses, setting up for a mission, evangelism and worship. £12.99

Two ‘goodies’ from Grove Publications: Vulnerable Evangelism by John Holmes, an Anglo-Catholic working as Missioner in Wakefield Diocese, and – just out – Emotional Healing by Sue Rose, who was for a while tutor in Pastoral Studies at Bristol – a key topic to assist the care of those coming into church heavily laden with the burdens of ‘the past’.
