The Black Anglican Concerns Group

In the Diocese of Sheffield meets to discuss the experience and needs of people from minority ethnic backgrounds in the Church. Members plan the annual service for Racial Justice Sunday and organise race awareness training for parishes and groups.

Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in this area of the life of the Church. If you are interested in the work of the group, please contact the Chair, Cynthia Sutherland, via the Faith and Justice Office.

The Black Anglican Concerns Group also supports the Bishop's Adviser for Black Concerns, Mrs Carmen Franklin. Carmen can be contacted via the Faith and Justice Office: Church House, 95-99 Effingham Street, Rotherham S65 1BL or julia.alder@sheffield.anglican.org
